Seven dazzling jewels: a ruby, sapphire, opal, aquamarine, emerald, amethyst, and a diamond sent a rainbow of lights dancing on the ceiling. The colored stones were bigger than peanut M&M's and brighter than fireworks. But it was the diamond—at least several carats—that stood out in glory: a square-shaped, sparkling supernova with a shimmer of pink inside.
